Kolomna: a Taste of History

A city-scale scenographic project structured as an audio promenade. The historic quarter of Kolomna was treated as a distributed stage - streets, buildings, and museums functioning as scenographic elements. Launched in 2015, it continues to operate.

I structured the route as a sequence of spatial situations, connecting architecture, objects, and stories into a single dramaturgical experience. As concept author, I developed the narrative structure and spatial logic. The project was grant-funded and has been used by over 50,000 visitors.

Kolomna was where my interest in cultural memory as scenographic material began. The questions opened here - how a place gathers, classifies, and preserves itself - continue to structure my practice.
